MINNEAPOLIS — Get ready to rock the Bank.
Heavy metal band Metallica is gearing up to begin a world tour that spans two years, more than 10 countries and multiple U.S. cities, including Minneapolis.
On Aug. 16 and Aug. 18, 2024, Metallica will bring its M72 World Tour to U.S. Bank Stadium. Each stop on the band's global tour will include two shows, and each night will have completely different setlists and support lineups, according to the band.
On Friday, Aug. 16, Pantera & Mammoth WVH will join Metallica in Minneapolis, and on Sunday, Aug. 18, Five Finger Death Punch & Ice Nine Kills will take the stage.
Other U.S. cities on Metallica’s tour schedule include East Rutherford, New Jersey, Arlington, Texas, Inglewood, California, Glendale, Arizona, St. Louis, Missouri, Detroit, Michigan, Foxborough, Massachusetts, Chicago Illinois and Seattle, Washington.
Presale tickets go on sale to Citi cardmembers starting Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. CT until Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. CT. Click here for more information on ticket presales.
Two-day tickets go on sale Dec. 2 at ticketmaster.com. Single-day tickets will be available starting Jan. 20, 2023.
A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales will benefit Metallica's "All Within My Hands Foundation," which has provided millions of dollars in grants to career and technical programs across the U.S., and millions more to combat food insecurity and help with disaster relief around the world.
