MINNEAPOLIS — From artists like the legendary Prince to the more recent successes of bands like Hippocampus, Minneapolis has long been a launchpad for musicians looking to break into stardom.
And in order to keep the talented musicians coming back, the city launched a survey Friday for musicians and others who work within the industry.
The city said in a statement Thursday the survey is open to musicians, live performers, industry professionals, educators, venue owners and support service providers.
Professionals, semi-professionals and students who work in any capacity in the industry, paid or unpaid, live in Minneapolis and are 18 or older are encouraged to apply.
