MINNEAPOLIS — This summer, you'll have a chance to see Minneapolis like you never have before.
Mayor Jacob Frey is unveiling a "Doors Open" weekend. It will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
He made the announcement in Minneapolis on Tuesday.
The idea is to give behind-the-scenes -- and free -- access to more than 100 places around the city.
There will be nine different themes, including arts, business, education, innovation and sacred spaces.
The city is looking for volunteer greeters. You can learn more about that online.
