Minnesota officials respond after shooting at Trump campaign rally

Trump could be seen reaching with his right hand toward his face.

MINNESOTA, USA — Minnesota's elected officials are responding after former president Donald Trump was whisked away from a rally in Pennsylvania after apparent gunshots rang through the crowd.

The former president and presumptive Republican nominee was showing off a chart of border crossing numbers on Saturday when bangs rang through the crowd. Trump could be seen reaching with his right hand toward his face and he appeared to be bleeding.

The rally was scheduled as his last before the Republican National Convention convenes Monday.
