DAKOTA COUNTY, Minn. — A Minnesota woman has filed a lawsuit against the Jeffrey Epstein estate, alleging sexual abuse.
The lawsuit, filed Friday in Dakota County, alleges "Drug-facilitated sexual assaults of the plaintiff" throughout the majority of her childhood and adult life. According to the documents filed in court, the woman also accused Epstein of presenting her as an "underage prostitute" for wealthy and elite clients.
The woman also alleged that Epstein recorded the crimes for blackmail.
KARE 11 does not typically name alleged victims of sexual abuse. The woman is listed in court documents as living in Hastings.
She is seeking $500 million in damages.
The lawsuit is filed against Jeffrey Epstein, his estate, and Mark Epstein.
Epstein died in August 2019 while in custody in New York. His death was ruled a suicide.
The multimillionaire had been facing up to 45 years behind bars on federal sex trafficking and conspiracy charges. He had pleaded not guilty and was awaiting trial.
