WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. — Authorities are asking for the public's help as they look for a missing woman with dementia.
Denise Garfield was last in touch wither her family at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday. The last family member to talk with her said she sounded confused, officials said.
The 71-year-old left her home in White Bear Lake Thursday morning en route to an appointment in St. Paul, but officials say she didn't arrive.
Garfield is believed to be driving within the metro area in her blue Lincoln MKZ, Minnesota license plate NCW442. Officials say her last known location was in Mounds View around 7:20 p.m.
Authorities say Garfield has dementia, and is described as 5'4" and 150 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last wearing a jean jacket, purple shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes.
