MINNEAPOLIS — Can you guess the top three most Instagrammed spots in the Twin Cities?
Certainly Minnesotans in the metro don't need a national platform to tell them where the best spots in the metro are to add to the grid, BUT IF THEY DID, they'd learn the Mall of America, U.S. Bank Stadium and Target Field comfortably sit at the top of the list.
According to data comparing Instagram hashtags for more than 2,700 landmarks across the United States, in Minnesota, posts from MOA collected more than 274,000 hashtags so far in 2024. That makes MOA the most Instagrammed spot in the Twin Cities, as well as Minnesota's most-posted landmark.
The data shows U.S. Bank Stadium came next, garnering nearly 93,000 tags, while Target Field had more than 89,000 and Minnehaha Falls followed closely behind with 82,598.
