SIREN, Wis — A Wisconsin man is dead after authorities say a tire blew out on his motorcycle.
It happened Friday on State Road 70 near Fosmo Drive, east of Siren, the Burnett County Sheriff's Office said.
According to officials there was a group of motorcyclists traveling together east on State Road 70 when one of the motorcyclist's tires blew out, causing them to be ejected. That driver, identified as 64-year-old Stephen Stevens, died.
Two other motorcyclists laid their bikes down to avoid collision, but authorities said a passenger was hurt in the crash. That person was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the sheriff's office said.
