OMAHA, Neb. -- Thousands of people paid their respects Tuesday to an Omaha, Nebraska police officer who was killed in the line of duty.
Officer Kerrie Orozco was killed in a shootout with a wanted man last week, a day before the new mom was set to begin her maternity leave.
Among those there to honor Orozco was a group of St. Paul and Minneapolis police officers who said they wanted to be at the funeral because members of law enforcement are like family.
