MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting after a man was killed while children were in the vehicle with him on Tuesday night.
Officers first responded to the 400 block of 23rd Avenue North and found a man inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a release from police.
The man was taken to the hospital Tuesday night but was pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation from the MPD indicates the man was in the vehicle with another adult and two children when he was fatally shot and killed.
The children and other adult in the vehicle were uninjured.
