MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating after officers found a dead man in the city's northside.
MPD officers initially responded to reports of a man down in front of a residence on the 2100 block of Thomas Ave N. just before 8 a.m., according to a release from the department.
Upon their arrival, the officers found the man who had been shot and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators from the department are working to determine what led to the shooting, according to the release.
