People looking for a time-efficient way to get exercise may find the solution in F45.
Originating in Australia, F45 gets its name from a "functional" full-body workout that can be completed in just 45 minutes.
It's becoming so popular in the United States that businesses like F45 Training at Ridgedale in Minnetonka now specialize in the exercise method.
Coaches at F45 Training say the workout can improve energy levels, metabolic rate, strength, and endurance. Participants can burn 400 to 750 calories with each 45-minute session.
"It has been crazy to see the changes made, I lost 30 lbs and took first place at F45 Ridgedale," said Lauren Kosmatka, who recently completed an F45 8-week challenge. "Taking the first step is always the hardest ... (I) can see myself becoming stronger everyday!"
F45 Training has its next 8-week Challenge starting Monday, February 3 and continuing through Sunday, March 29. Anyone interested can learn more on the F45 Training website, or by attending a Challenge Information Session on Thursday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m. at their studio at Ridgedale.
