As we recognize and celebrate Black History Month, a new show reminds us what African Americans sacrificed during the Civil Rights movement.
"Periphery - The Student Sit-ins of 1960" is on stage now at the Youth Performance Company in MInneapolis.
It tells the story of the student sit-ins of 1960 and shows that young people can change the world.
Jacie Knight and Terrance Briscoe from Youth performance Company appeared on KARE 11 News at 4 to discuss the new show.
