MINNEAPOLIS — Athletes Committed to Educating Students - or ACES - works to reduce Minnesota's academic opportunity gap by providing math and social-emotional education through sports.
More than 10,000 students (4th through 8th grade) have participated in the tutoring and after-school programs. Currently, ACES offers programming at nine partner schools in St. Paul, Minneapolis, and Northfield.
ACES Executive Director, Jazmin Danielson, joined KARE 11 Noon to discuss the program and why it works for kids.
