Beast Barbecue serves up the smoked meats at Dining Out for Life

Have a bite of a good burger and fund a good cause!

MINNEAPOLIS — If you like to choose your restaurants with a meaningful story behind them, then take a bite out of Beast Barbecue.

The restaurant, based in the Beltrami neighborhood in Minneapolis, offers smoked meats with the flavors of a Southern classic barbecue. You can pick your favorite from the smoked meats, sandwiches, ribs or vegetarian options.

The barbecue hotspot is partnering with Dining Out For Life on April 25 to fundraise for the Aliveness Project, which works for HIV support and prevention. If you buy on the day of the fundraiser, part of the proceeds will go to help.

Jeff Weber, Executive Chef and Co-Owner, came to KARE 11 to chat more about his restaurant and the upcoming fundraiser.
