MINNEAPOLIS — On Thursday, Nov. 16, it's officially Give to the Max Day, as Minnesotans raise money to support nonprofits, organizations, and schools through donations.
This is the 15th year of the annual fundraising event.
More than 35,000 organizations are participating in Give To the Max Day.
GiveMN, the organization behind Give to the Max Day, "launched in 2009 as a collaborative venture led by Minnesota Community Foundation and many other organizations," according to its website.
GiveMN officials said since the start, more than 750,000 donors have given nearly $400 million to 14,000 nonprofits, organizations and schools.
