GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn — The Twin Cities food scene is always evolving and growing.
Chef, restaurant owner and television star Yia Vang joined KARE 11 Noon to talk about the 5th season of his PBS show "Relish."
In the new season, Vang gets back to interviewing more local chefs. He explores comfort foods from around the world like Indian street food batata kachori, Puerto Rican fricasse de pollo, Yucatecan poc chuc and Midwestern pot roast.
Chef Vang also demonstrates new ways to spice up your cooking.
He is the owner/Chef of the James Beard-nominated Union Hmong Kitchen in the North Loop of Minneapolis.
