MINNEAPOLIS — A popular Mexican eatery that began in an Eagan convenience store is hosting two events to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month.
On Sept. 15, El Sazon Cocina & Tragos in southwest Minneapolis is throwing a Lot Party from 12 to 4 p.m. with food, drink, and Hispanic vendors. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., El Sazon will serve up Behind Da Bar, a local collective of Latin bartenders who will highlight their culture and delicious cocktails.
