SHAKOPEE, Minn. — You might not expect to find fine dining at a place better known for roller coasters and water rides but this summer Valleyfair is serving up some sweet and savory treats as well.
There are four new culinary experiences at the park, under the supervision of Valleyfair's new executive chef, Josh Slaughter. Lucky Loon Kitchen has fresh made-from-scratch meals including roasts, fish and chicken, pasta salads, seasonal veggies and fresh desserts.
Renegade Smokehouse serves up tender, seasoned slow-cooked meats with savory sides.
Ready for something sweet? Superior Funnel Cake Co. is right across from the Ferris Wheel, serving up unique funnel cake creations and other sweet treats.
If you're ready for a slice after a long day at the park, Northwoods Pizzeria has fresh pizza and warm breadsticks.
And after a long day of waiting in line, now you can wet your whistle and quench your thirst with a new ICEE Frozen Cocktail.
