FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. — A Twin Cities favorite for Hmong cuisine is bringing some of its delicious menu back to the Minnesota State Fair.
Union Hmong Kitchen, which has two Minneapolis locations on Lake Street and North Loop, is also open during the fair at the International Bazaar.
Chef Yia Vang showed off what's on the menu in a visit with KARE 11's Alexis Rogers on KARE 11 News at Noon.
Among the menu items at the fair:
- Galabao with Kua Txob (steamed pork bun with chili sauce)
- Coconut Lychee Colada
- Grilled Purple Sticky Rice with Hmong Beef Jerky or Pickled Mushrooms & Krunchy Chili Aioli (new this year)
