MINNEAPOLIS — The Woke Coach first founded her company in 2018 and since then has educated corporations on the truth about the realities of racial injustice.
Monday, Seena Hodges joined KARE 11 News at Noon to talk about her new book, "From Ally to Accomplice: How to Lead as a Fierce Antiracist."
Hodges said the book is "an inviting and even joyful DEIAA (Diversity, equity, inclusivity, antiracism and accessibility) program that doesn't avoid hard truths." The book also aims to guide readers to become accomplices.
The author was the first Black woman to be the president of the board of trustees for the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and became "The Woke Coach" after being regularly asked about racial issues by friends.
You can find more information about the book "From Ally to Accomplice" here.
