Preview: Halfway to Pride in Northeast Minneapolis

Twin Cities Pride is making sure those rainbow flags stay up rain, shine or even snow.

MINNEAPOLIS — The end of June is certainly not the end of LGBTQ+ Pride in the Twin Cities.

And the group that hosts the annual festival, Twin Cities Pride, is making sure those rainbow flags stay up rain, shine or even snow.

Coming up on Jan. 28, the group is hosting a Halfway to Pride event at Bauhaus in Northeast Minneapolis from 12-6 p.m. There will be food vendors, drinks, pride trivia and announcements about the upcoming June Pride event.

Kelsey Alto, Director of Programming at Twin Cities Pride, came to the KARE 11 studios to chat about it.
