Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge promotes music for healing

For some people in recovery, music is a crucial part of treatment. That's why Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge is bringing them together for its holiday concert.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — For a lot of us, music is a crucial part of the holiday season, but for people who are also in recovery from drugs and alcohol, it can be a crucial part of treatment.

That's why Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge (MNTC) is bringing them together as part of its annual holiday concert.

Mark Berggren, director of strategic partnerships for MNTC, and members of the organization's choir, were on KARE 11 News at Noon with Alexis Rogers to preview the unique event.
