MINNEAPOLIS — Does your business need just a little bit more money to reach its professional goals?

Consider the Minnesota PROMISE Act Grants. This money was allotted by the Minnesota Legislature in June 2023 to help businesses reach their full potential after setbacks.

In order to qualify, businesses must meet specific criteria, including generating gross annual revenues of $750,000 or less and operating in St. Paul or Minneapolis. Nonprofits that earn at least 10% of their revenue through sales are also eligible to apply.

The money can be used for working capital, payroll expenses, rent or mortgage payments, utilities, equipment and other operational costs.

The grant application is open until June 30 at midnight. For a full list of criteria, check out the law here
