MN Black Chamber of Commerce hits 20 years

This year's gala is at the Depot Minneapolis on Saturday, August 3.

ST PAUL, Minn. — This year marks 20 years since Minnesota created its Black Chamber of Commerce, and in a couple of weeks, we have the chance to celebrate.

The Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce (MBCC) is committed to serving Black-owned businesses and their communities through access to education, advocacy and economic development. Their goal is to maximize the potential of every Black-owned business, large or small, by providing equitable opportunities for growth at every stage.

MBCC members Samuel Ndely and Lataya Allseits joined KARE 11 News at Noon to tell us about this year's gala and the history behind the MBCC.
