Musical Six comes to St. Paul

The six wives of King Henry VIII take to the stage to upend traditional narratives and tell their side of the story.

ST PAUL, Minn. — When you think of 16th-century English history, you likely don't think of glittery outfits, powerful women and pop-rock ballads.

But that's just what the musical Six brings to the stage. The six wives of King Henry VIII take to the stage to upend traditional narratives and tell their side of the story.

The musical has a cast of all women and claimed a bevy of awards during its debut Broadway season in 2021-2022. Six has toured St. Paul twice before, in 2019 and 2022.

Actress Adriana Scalice visited KARE 11 News at Noon on Wednesday to share more about the show and its inner workings.

The musical will be at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts from July 16-28. Tickets start at $56 and are available here
