MINNEAPOLIS — My Pit Bull is Family is a Minneapolis nonprofit with a mission to help families with pit bulls find properties that allow the breed. The organization also promotes inclusive pet policies – a campaign to end housing and insurance discrimination.
In 2019, My Pitbull is Family launched the North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center. It supports roughly 1,800 pets and their families each month with pet food and supplies - equating to about 30,000 lbs of pet food and litter.
