Preview: Hairspray coming to the Ordway

Lead Tracy Turnblad will dance and jive in 1950s-era Baltimore as Twin Cities theater-goers enjoy the time-honored musical.

ST PAUL, Minn. — Good morning St. Paul! 

Tracy Turnblad has danced onto the stage of the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. The role sits at the center of the Broadway musical-comedy Hairspray, which will play in St. Paul from March 13-17.

Amy Rodriguez, standby for the lead character Tracy, came to the KARE 11 Studio to chat about the show and what to expect.
