MINNEAPOLIS — A house on the Northside of Minneapolis was damaged by a fire Saturday afternoon.

According to the Minneapolis Fire Dept., it happened around 2 p.m. on Sheridan Avenue North.

Crews determined the fire was coming from an electrical box on an exterior wall of the house, and the fire had extended into other parts of the roof, officials said. The fire was out within 20 minutes.

No one was home at the time of the fire, according to the fire dept. The Red Cross is now assisting the two adults and one child who live there.
