BURNSVILLE, Minn. — One person has been hospitalized and is in "serious condition" after a fire Saturday morning at Ridgeview Condominiums in Burnsville.
According to officials, the Burnsville Fire Department responded to a fire alarm call at the condominiums just after 12:30 a.m. at the 12900 block of Nicollet Avenue South in Burnsville.
When fire crews arrived, they found an active fire inside the building. Crews rescued an adult victim, who was transported to the the hospital with "fire-related" injuries, according to officials.
Six units inside the building sustained smoke and/or fire damage, and, as a result, officials say the units are uninhabitable at this time.
