Join Randy's cancer fight with #2for2 bracelet

Roseann Shaver says since Randy went public with his diagnosis of prostate cancer people have come up to engage them at the supermarket, sporting events or anywhere else they go, shouting "#2for2!" The phrase, which has also become a popular hash tag, has become Randy's motto.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Public support has been nothing short of amazing since KARE 11's Randy Shaver announced that he would be fighting cancer for a second time.

Randy's wife Roseann, Executive Director of the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund, says since Randy went public with his diagnosis of prostate cancer people have come up to engage them at the supermarket, sporting events or anywhere else they go, shouting "#2for2!" The phrase, which has also become a popular hash tag, has become Randy's motto: He beat cancer once, and he'll beat it again.

Many have also asked if there is anything they can do to help in his latest cancer battle.

As part of Randy and Roseann's continuing mission to fund research and find a cure for cancer, KARE 11 is working with Culvers and the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund to make available a special edition #2for2 bracelet. You can purchase one for just $2 at participating Culver's restaurants and upcoming Tackle Cancer games (see lists below). All money will go to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund.

The bracelets are set to go on sale this Friday, September 21.

"We wanted to help folks do something without breaking the bank," Roseann tells KARE 11.

Ten thousands of the #2for2 bracelets will be sold at Culver's locations, with an additional 5,000 made available at Tackle Cancer games. The goal is to raise $30,000 and of course... get people talking about cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
