Phil Lavallee, from Otsego, was just a teenager when he was killed by a distracted driver in 2013.

Now his parents, Greg and Amy Lavallee, have made it their mission to bring more awareness to this growing epidemic in hopes motorists will put distractions aside when behind the wheel and "Just Drive."

The Lavallees are encouraging everyone to be part of the solution.

That's why they organized the Second Annual Just Drive Day at Monticello Middle School on Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

It's a free community walk, jog, bike or stroll. Everyone in attendance was asked to wear Phil's favorite color, orange.
