GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — More than 2,000 people from 148 groups appeared on KARE 11's broadcasts from Dec. 2-16 to celebrate their Toys for Tots collection efforts.
As of Tuesday, Dec. 17, 252,999 toys have been donated and the Marines are working to get these delivered to families in need.
KARE 11 and the Marines are no longer accepting physical toy donations for this year but donations can also be made to Toys for Tots through KARE 11's Toys for Tots fundraising page. All monetary donations will be used to purchase toys in 2020.
KARE 11 would like to thank all the groups, businesses, families, and individuals that contributed to the 2019 campaign to make it another successful year. Your donations will help make the holidays special for so many deserving kids in the Twin Cities area.
