BLAINE, Minn. — The Minnesota State Patrol said a pedestrian has died after being hit by a car early Saturday morning in Anoka County.
According to the State Patrol, the male pedestrian was walking on University Avenue/Highway 47 near 85th Street in Blaine when he was struck by an SUV just before 6 a.m. Saturday.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
The State Patrol said the victim was a 27-year-old man from Princeton, but the man's identity was not yet released.
