WOODBURY, Minn. — The Woodbury Police Department is asking for help locating 16-year-old Anlatayla Ames, who has been missing since mid-October.
Authorities say she was last seen leaving her Woodbury residence on Oct. 10 wearing black sweatpants and a cropped black sweatshirt with a collar and zipper.
Her direction of travel was unknown, but Anlatayla - who also goes by Tayla or Tay - is known to frequent bus lines and homeless shelters in the Minneapolis and Saint Paul areas, according to a release from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).
Ames is described as 5'2", 130 pounds with a piercing in her right nostril and a piercing in each ear. Anlatayla also has a dark, baseball-sized mark on the outside of her right thigh.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 651-439-9381.
