Officials asking for help after Moorhead woman reported missing

Melissa Lohnes was last seen in south Moorhead around 12:30 p.m.

MOORHEAD, Minn. — Officials asked the public for help after a woman was reported missing from Moorhead. 

According to the Minnesota BCA, 45-year-old Melissa Lohnes was last seen in south Moorhead on May 29 around 12:30 p.m.

Police said Melissa could be headed to Sisseton, South Dakota with an unknown acquaintance. 

Melissa is 5'6" and 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Police said she was wearing a navy blue shirt and gray pants. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the Red River Dispatch Center at (701) 451-7660.
