ST PAUL, Minn. — Power has been restored at the Minnesota State Fair after an outage impacted vendors, booths, and attractions Friday afternoon.
Reports of the outage came in at 4:19 p.m. Friday, impacting booths in the area south of the Grandstand. Fair officials said it also impacted attractions and vendors along Judson Avenue, Liggett Street and Underwood Street.
The Skyscraper ride at Adventure Park was also impacted by the outage. Fair officials told KARE 11 that two people were on the ride at the time, and they were able to get off uninjured within minutes of the outage happening.
Xcel Energy crews were able to bring power back by replacing a fuse, fair officials said. Power was fully back on at 5:39 p.m.
