1 dead after shooting behind Minneapolis gas station

Officials said the 23-year-old man died at the scene despite life-saving attempts.

MINNEAPOLIS — A man is dead after following a shooting behind a gas station in Minneapolis early Tuesday morning. 

When police officers arrived at the scene at 2600 W Broadway Ave. they discovered a 23-year-old man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Despite life-saving attempts, the man died at the scene, according to officials. 

Minneapolis police believe that the shooting happened following a verbal altercation. There have been no arrests as of late Tuesday morning.
