SHOREWOOD, Minn — Authorities identified a woman after she died Friday after being hit by a truck while crossing a highway in Shorewood.
The Minnesota State Patrol said the 65-year-old woman was walking across Highway 7 at Christmas Lake Road around 1 p.m. when she was struck by a Ford F150 turning onto the freeway.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim Wednesday as Lori Dahl of Excelsior. The report stated that she died of multiple blunt-force injuries due to being hit by a car.
