MINNESOTA, USA — Wintery conditions on Saturday caused more than 60 crashes across the state, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the agency's report, eight of the 65 reported crashes involved an injury, and 25 vehicles either spun out or left the road between 4 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Those figures include several crashes in the Twin Cities Metro, with at least one occurring on I-94 eastbound in St. Paul and another on I-94 westbound in Minneapolis, according to MnDOT's 511 website

KARE 11 Meteorologist Jamie Kagol said drivers should be cautious due to wintery conditions.

"Slick spots are definitely possible on the roads tonight and tomorrow," Kagol said.
