BROOKLYN PARK, Minn — A student in Brooklyn Park was arrested Wednesday after a gun was found in a backpack.
According to Brooklyn Park police, school staff at Park Center High School found the handgun.
The school resource officer investigated, and identified a student as a "person of interest." The student was arrested without incident, officials said.
Authorities said there is no known threat to the school.
Park Center High School is part of the Osseo Area Schools district.
