GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. - A northern Minnesota teenager accused of killing a classmate in what authorities say may be an accidental shooting has been released from jail.
Itasca County sheriff's officials say 17-year-old Dallas James Graciano, of rural Deer River, died after being shot by his 18-year-old friend in Squaw Lake Sunday morning. The Itasca County Attorney's Office is reviewing the case. WDIO-TV reports the 18-year-old has been released from jail on his own recognizance.
The two teens were seniors at Deer River High School and played football together.
