ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Former President Donald Trump rallied supporters in St. Cloud Saturday, with thousands in attendance at his rally at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Just down the street, hundreds gathered in opposition.
"I was a teacher, and if my children had spoken like he speaks, they would be reprimanded," Cindy Leigh said.
Supporters of Kamala Harris gathered outside the St. Cloud Public Library, with crowds lining the road outside, holding signs opposing Trump.
"Get out and vote, support Kamala!" Stanley Hemingway said. "He was on the golf course, he's lazy, he can't be doing any presidential duties if he's always on the golf course!"
After about an hour of lining the road, demonstrators marched to the Stearns County Courthouse, where they rallied in support of Harris.
"The former Presidents last remarks, about we won't need to vote in four years, we'll be done voting, is pretty alarming, our democracy matters," one man told KARE11 as he walked. "I've been doing a lot of talking, decided to do some walking."
