MINNEAPOLIS — With frigid temps dead ahead, runners and inline skaters across the metro will be looking to take their workouts indoors.

Here's an option. Starting Dec. 5, U.S. Bank Stadium will open its doors to runners and rollerbladers in downtown Minneapolis. The popular football palace and concert venue will host running and skating sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays until Jan. 25.

The "Winter Warm-Up" will be open to participants from 5-9 p.m.

Admission is $15 a person and tickets can be purchased at this link. Runners can trek the upper concourse while inline skaters will be on the main concourse.

The website says recreational skating (open skate) runs from 5-8 p.m., while 8 to 9 p.m. is for speed skaters.
