Weather cancels Monday's scheduled Vikings Training Camp

Minnesota fans who had tickets to the Aug 5. practice will receive a full refund.

EAGAN, Minn. — This summer's extreme weather has caused another closure, this time one affecting pre-season fans of Minnesota football. 

Due to rain in the forecast, the Vikings canceled the scheduled Training Camp night practice for Monday, Aug. 5. In a press release, the team said the Vikings Museum, Locker Room Store and all fan activations will be closed. 

Everyone with tickets to Monday's practice will get a full and automatic refund within the next 24 hours. 

To make up for the cancellation, a night practice was added for next Monday, Aug. 12. Fans can reserve their tickets for this event starting at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5. at this link.

 Minnesota's first preseason game is scheduled against the Las Vegas Raiders at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10.
