DODGE COUNTY, Minn. — Lois Riess is being charged in Minnesota in connection to her husband's death.
Riess is being charged with one count of premeditated murder in the first-degree, and one count of intent to murder in the second-degree, according to court documents from the State of Minnesota.
Riess is being accused of killing her 54-year-old husband, David Riess, after his body was found in March 2018 at their Blooming Prairie home.
She is also accused of killing a woman in Fort Myers, Florida.
She was arrested in Texas.
In Minnesota, the penalty for her offenses are life imprisonment without release for the first-degree murder charge, and no more than 40 years for the second-degree murder charge.
