Make your own Top the Tater dips

Here are a couple of dips you can try making at home using Top the Tater.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Mid-America Farms Top the Tater is Minnesota’s legendary sour cream dip artfully crafted for snacking, but also for mixing in or topping off the hearty recipes that make the Midwest famous.

Here are a couple of dips you can try:

Street Corn and Cheesy-Bacon Dip

Mix up the favorite trio of corn, bacon and cheese into a delicious dip.

Ingredients

• 12 oz container Chive-Onion Top the Tater® Sour Cream Dip

• 4 ears corn on the cob, grilled and kernels removed or 2 1/2 cups cooked corn

• 8 oz finely shredded cheddar cheese

• 12 oz package bacon, cooked and crumbled

• 1/4 cup chopped cilantro or parsley

• Dippers such as chips, crackers and veggies.

Instructions

1. In large bowl, mix all ingredients except dippers.

2. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour to blend flavors.

3. Serve with dippers.

Makes 24 servings.

Taco Fiesta Mini Party Dips

Ingredients

• 1 can (16 oz) refried beans

• 12 oz container Taco Fiesta Top the Tater® Sour Cream Dip

• 1 1/2 cups purchased guacamole

• 1 1/2 cups favorite salsa

• 1 cup finely shredded Mexican cheese blend

• 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

1. Spoon refried beans evenly among twelve 9-oz clear plastic cups.

2. Spoon Top the Tater® dip evenly over refried beans.

3. Spoon guacamole over Top the Tater® dip.

4. Spoon salsa evenly over dip.

5. Sprinkle finely shredded cheese evenly over salsa.

6. Sprinkle with cilantro.

Makes 12 Mini Party Dips

Layered Top the Tater® Buffalo Dip

Layer cheese, chicken, hot sauce and dip for “dig-in” party fare.

Ingredients

• 8 oz container whipped plain cream cheese

• 2 cups shredded deli-roasted chicken*

• 3/4 cup buffalo wings sauce (divided)

• 12 oz container Zesty Buffalo Top the Tater® Sour Cream Dip

• 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles

• Dippers such as veggie sticks, crackers and chips.

Instructions

1. Spread whipped cream cheese to cover a dinner plate or small platter.

2. Sprinkle with shredded chicken.

3. In medium bowl, mix 1/4 cup wings sauce with Top the Tater® Dip; spoon evenly over the chicken.

4. Drizzle with remaining buffalo wing sauce.

5. Sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles.

6. Serve with dippers.

Makes 24 servings.
