2 arrested after homicide at Hmong festival

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Paul Police say two people have been arrested in connection with a homicide Sunday at the Hmong Freedom Festival in Como Regional Park.

St. Paul police spokesperson Steve Linders said the shooting happened at about 4:30 p.m. He said a man was taken to Regions Hospital in critical condition with two gunshot wounds to his torso. Later on Sunday St. Paul police said on Twitter that the man had died and police were investigating the shooting as a homicide.

The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Jacky G. Vue, of St. Paul.

Monday morning, police tweeted that two people were arrested in the incident -- a 27-year-old St. Paul man and a 28-year-old from La Crosse, Wis.
