MINNEAPOLIS — We're learning a bit more about new KARE 11 Sunrise anchor Gia Vang every day: Her roots in the Twin Cities, her interest in Hmong culture and history, and today, Gia's love of music and collecting vinyl.
In an effort to reacquaint herself with all things Minnesotan, Gia took a trip to the Electric Fetus, where Jim Novak set her up with the 11 albums she absolutely has to have. From 'The Free Wheelin' Bob Dylana' to Prince's 'Purple Rain' and the latest from Lizzo, Ms. Vang is now armed with a bunch of new music to listen to, and a new appreciation for her home state.
