MINNEAPOLIS — At 7:30 p.m., Police in Minneapolis say a sprinter van traveling down Portland Avenue ran a red light and struck a sprinter van at the intersection of Portland Avenue and Franklin Avenue, causing it to rollover and collide with an MTC bus.
Police say the driver of the sprinter van has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries, that are not believed to be lift-threatening at this time. Other individuals involved in the crash have also sustained minor injuries, though the exact number of individuals is still forthcoming.
Police say the driver of the vehicle has fled on foot and is still at large.
